A Few Words About Trusting Yourself
Trusting yourself involves having confidence and faith in your decisions. These are decisions YOU make on your behalf AND toward others.
And you want to base those decisions on consideration for yourself and the other person.
It’s a personal choice to trust yourself, and GenuLines reminds you to make that decision on your own. But keep in mind that there will always be people who belittle your opinions.
They don’t respect your values or the decisions you make. It’s essential that you don’t allow these people to influence your resolve.
Trusting yourself means that you stand firm in your values. You follow through and your decisions reflect your integrity.
Be persistent in pursuing your goals and aspirations. And do it without letting the opinions of others distract you.
You have to be strong enough to block out all the external noise and believe in yourself.
Trust yourself to do and act in the way that’s best for you. It’s not selfish to put yourself first.
Back up your convictions with strong, decisive actions and consistent improvements. Base your moves on your values and principles and you’ll be better for it.
